I would like to welcome everyone to the 2010 Lanark County Western Horse Club. We have a great year planned, with various new and
exciting features, while adhering to the traditional platform from previous years. Once again I am looking forward to a great season
acting as President and with the skilled “steering committee” we will do our best to represent the club.
I would like to thank all
the past committee volunteers from 2009 for all their knowledge and dedication manifested in the past. I welcome and thank in advance
our new 2010 committee volunteers Sandy Nolan, Brian Ungar, Jessie Foye, and Mike Wood.
New for 2010 - The Performance and Games will
be run simultaneously in two rings at the Perth fair grounds, commencing at 10:00 am sharp. We have added a Peewee division as well
as a Judges Choice award class for the gamers. On the Performance side the Halter class has been split by age of exhibitor – junior/youth
halter and senior halter. The trail class has been moved ahead of the reining classes. There is a clinic/mock show offered at Little
Rahane farm on Saturday April 24th. The LCWHC has a new website address please check your newsletter for the address and update your
bookmarks. Check your newsletter for details on all of the above mentioned, as well to take an opportunity to register early and save
on administration fees.
As the LCWHC continues to stay current and meet the needs of the members, we welcome your feedback. Please
feel free to approach any one of the committee members or directors at anytime during the season.
